Molveno Lake: a joy for both children and adults

One of the most beautiful lakes in Trentino: Molveno Lake is ideal for children and adults too. This magnificent Alpine lake is located not far from Andalo, has the majestic peaks of the Brenta Dolomites for a backdrop, and in the past years has been awarded with the Cinque Vele di Legambiente (Five Sails of Legambiente), the coveted award for environmental quality, services and commitment to the protection and conservation of Italian lakes.

Molveno Lake: on the beach in summer… in the mountains!

Cool off in the water, enjoy a day at the beach with the whole family.
A beautiful walk will take you to the lake, suitable for baby strollers along a pathway connecting Andalo to Molveno. And if you don’t want to walk back, no problem! The convenient shuttle bus (for a fee) will take you back to Andalo!

Spending a day at the lake of Molveno with your children you can take advantage of the free beach equipment: with ten hectares of lawn reaching to the edge of the water, it is one of the most beautiful beaches in Trentino.

Shade is guaranteed by trees and the beach of Lake Molveno offers playgrounds for the children, sandpits, beach volleyball, basketball, mini golf, tennis and bowling. In addition, you can rent mountain bikes, surfboards and canoes.

The perimeter of the lake is practicable entirely on foot, thanks to a semi-flat path of 10 km that can be covered in a couple of hours. Molveno is also the departure point for many of the most beautiful hikes in the Brenta Dolomites.
